Position:  Case Manager

Location:  Port Coquitlam, BC

 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The position involves overall Case Management services including assessment and referral, creation and implementation of action plan, facilitating workshops targeted to the client’s goals, customized employment development; assistance with accessing training, administering financial supports and purchased services; entering data into the Integrated Case Management (ICM) system; marketing these services and Work BC within the community; attending community functions. 

 

This position is located in Port Coquitlam, BC

 

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-Secondary education in related field and/or combination of education and experience (Career Development Counsellor Certification preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Case Management duties
  • Knowledge of community resources, including funding resources
  • Well developed communication skills
  • Excellent Computer literacy including familiarity with database entry (ICM database experience preferred)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
  • Experience in marketing and promotion
  • Strong administrative skills in MS Office Programs
  • Valid driver’s license is required


Competitive salary – commensurate with experience working under the Work BC model.
