Participant Success – Administrative Assistant 

- Program Objective -

The “55+ Age Advantage” program helps Older Workers, aged 55+, who are looking for assistance with addressing challenges re-entering and remaining in the workforce.

- Training Plan Development -

Participant and their Employment Specialist agreed that providing remote administrative assistance work for a business, or service organization, would address their medical challenges.
Numerous applications and resumes were forwarded for remote/work at home clerical positions.

- Supports Provided -

The Age Advantage program also stepped in to provide the participant with a Chromebook and one year access to Microsoft Office. The addition of this technology and access to office programs were instrumental for them in gaining employment.

- Results -

Participant was hired by the Chilliwack Business Improvement Association and the City of Chilliwack electoral office.
